Job Summary
Tax Senior Manager to lead diverse tax engagements (corporate, individual, partnership), drive tax planning, consulting, and compliance across a broad client base, mentor and lead staff, and contribute to firm leadership and growth. Responsibilities include researching and resolving technical tax matters (multi-state contexts), building and maintaining client relationships, and supporting business development. Ideal candidate is a CPA in good standing with 10+ years in public accounting, strong communication and proactive mindset, and located in or willing to relocate to the Birmingham/Ridgeland, MS area with opportunities for future Partner/Member progression. Relocation assistance may be available.
Required Qualifications
- CPA license active and in good standing (state of MS)
- 10+ years of recent experience in public accounting (tax-focused)
- Experience leading client engagements and managing staff
- Located within the Birmingham, AL area, or open to relocation
- Interest in growing into a Partner/Member role
- Strong communication skills and proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to contribute to strategic firm initiatives and business development
