Job Summary
Review tax staff work, ensure timely and accurate filing requirements and financial statement tax disclosures, and respond to tax and financial statement audits. Analyze and quantify impacts of current tax law and proposed legislation, research tax positions, and identify favorable reporting positions. Manage workstreams for filings, provisions, and inquiries while diagnosing root causes in data or process gaps to implement solutions that reduce risk and cost. Requires a 4-year degree, preferably a CPA or master's in tax, and 5 years of experience in a large CPA firm or corporate tax department. Must reside in Southern California or relocate to San Diego. Hybrid schedule includes Fridays work from home.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year degree in a relevant field
- 5 years of related experience with a large CPA firm and/or corporate tax department with tax provision experience
- Must reside in Southern California or be willing to relocate to San Diego upon hire
