Job Summary
Tax Senior at Grassi will lead client engagements from planning through completion, supervise and mentor associates and interns, review complex tax returns across individuals, partnerships, corporate, and foreign tax clients, and advise on tax strategies. The role involves researching tax matters, utilizing tax software (ProSystems Engagement, CCH Axcess), responding to IRS inquiries, and coordinating with clients to identify opportunities for tax savings; travel to client sites is occasional, and the position emphasizes leadership, communication, and collaboration within a diverse, growth-oriented firm.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Master’s degree in accounting, taxation, or equivalent
- CPA license or in process of obtaining CPA license
