Review client financial records, income statements, and prior tax returns to calculate taxable income and verify form accuracy against current tax law. Inform clients of submission processes and critical deadlines to ensure timely filings, then negotiate with IRS and state authorities on their behalf. Serve as the liaison for final tax form submissions and schedule strategy consultations to optimize long-term tax payments. Exercise utmost care when handling private client information. This role supports businesses in minimizing current liabilities and planning for future savings.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to comprehend federal and state tax laws and can easily navigate tax code documents
- Strong negotiation skills
- Willing to obtain an Enrolled Agent license
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus
