Job Summary
Conduct full-service tax return preparation, provide personalized tax advice, and facilitate discovery sessions to maximize refunds and optimize deductions for clients. Act as a proactive community ambassador by engaging new prospects, nurturing leads, and leading local events to convert them into long-term TurboTax clients. Deliver a best-in-class customer experience by connecting personally with individuals both in-person and virtually to build trust and achieve their financial goals. Work onsite at a TurboTax location Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week, utilizing professional tax software and government resources to handle complex situations.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credentials: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney
- Strong tax preparation experience
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Experience using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Availability Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
