Job Summary
Represent TurboTax locally as a proactive community ambassador by engaging prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term clients through in-person and virtual interactions. Provide hands-on tax expertise by delivering full-service return preparation, personalized advice, and calculations for simple to complex situations including deductions optimization and amendments. Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and maximize refunds while addressing client inquiries and overcoming tax-related challenges. Build lasting trust by connecting on a personal level to turn one-time transactions into loyal, multi-year relationships. Work onsite at a retail location Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week, leveraging TurboTax marketing support to foster prosperity for the community.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credentials: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney
- Strong tax preparation experience
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Experience using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Availability Sunday through Saturday
- Minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
