Job Summary
Represent TurboTax locally by enthusiastically engaging new prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term clients through proactive outreach and community events. Provide full-service tax preparation, including hands-on advice, calculations, and deductions optimization for personal and business income, while facilitating discovery sessions to maximize refunds and future planning. Deliver a best-in-class customer experience by connecting with clients in-person or virtually to build trust and address tax-related challenges. Work onsite at a TurboTax location Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week, wearing a uniform in a front-facing retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credentials: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment

- Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
- Interest in building a local and online social presence as a Tax Associate, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit's policies
