Job Summary
Prepare full-service tax returns, provide personalized tax advice, and conduct discovery sessions to maximize refunds and optimize deductions for local clients. Serve customers in-person and virtually using TurboTax products while acting as a proactive community ambassador to engage prospects, lead local events, and nurture long-term relationships. Deliver a best-in-class customer experience by connecting personally to build trust and help clients achieve financial goals such as retirement or education funding. Work onsite at a TurboTax location Sunday through Saturday, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment with a business ownership mindset to grow your customer portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credentials: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney
- Strong tax preparation experience
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Experience using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Availability Sunday through Saturday
- Minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
