Job Summary
Conduct full-service tax return preparation, provide personalized tax advice, and optimize deductions for customers using Intuit TurboTax products. Engage with local prospects, nurture leads, and convert them into long-term clients by representing TurboTax as a community fixture. Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover additional deductions and deliver future tax planning strategies while maintaining a professional, front-facing retail presence. Work onsite from a TurboTax location Sunday through Saturday, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Must be available Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
