Job Summary
Represent TurboTax locally by enthusiastically serving as a public face of the brand, engaging new prospects, and leading community events to convert leads into long-term clients. Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for clients, handling simple to complex situations including deductions optimization and tax planning. Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through genuine interest in helping clients achieve financial goals, connecting in-person and virtually to build trust and loyalty. Work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week with flexible scheduling based on career goals and peak demand periods.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credentials: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Possession or ability to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Comfort working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Interest in building a local and online social presence as a Tax Associate, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit's policies
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
- Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
- Willingness to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Willingness to work in a front facing retail environment
- Must reside within the United States
