Job Summary
Prepare full-service tax returns, provide tax advice, and conduct discovery sessions to help customers maximize refunds and plan for the future. Serve in-person clients using Intuit TurboTax products while addressing inquiries and overcoming tax-related challenges through personalized communication. Act as a proactive community ambassador by engaging new prospects, nurturing leads, and participating in local marketing efforts to grow the client base. This role requires onsite presence at a TurboTax retail or flagship location in the United States, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Candidates must hold an active EA, CPA, or attorney license with a PTIN and at least three years of experience filing 30 or more federal and state returns. Intuit offers a competitive pay-for-performance package with base pay ranging from $32.50 to $36.00 in California, plus equity, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Must be available Sunday through Saturday
- Must be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
