Job Summary
Represent TurboTax locally by enthusiastically serving as a public face of the brand, engaging new prospects, and leading community events to convert leads into long-term clients. Provide hands-on tax expertise through full-service return preparation, personalized advice, and discovery sessions that uncover deductions and maximize refunds. Deliver a best-in-class customer experience by connecting with individuals in-person or virtually to build trust and address tax-related challenges. Work onsite at a retail location Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours weekly, utilizing professional tax software and marketing support to empower customers to achieve financial goals.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credentials: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney
- Strong tax preparation experience
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Experience using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Availability Sunday through Saturday
- Minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
