Job Summary
Prepare full-service tax returns, provide tax advice, and conduct discovery sessions to maximize refunds and optimize deductions for customers in-person at a TurboTax Retail or Flagship location. Engage with prospects to nurture leads, convert them into long-term clients, and represent TurboTax in local marketing efforts. Deliver personalized tax solutions using professional tools and government resources while addressing inquiries and helping clients overcome tax challenges. Work onsite Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week, scaling during peak demand. This role supports Intuit's mission of "Powering Prosperity Around the World" by building a thriving local business that fosters prosperity for the community.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Experience using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Availability Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
