Job Summary
Represent TurboTax locally as a community ambassador by engaging new prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term clients through proactive outreach and local event leadership. Provide full-service tax expertise by delivering hands-on advice, completing return preparations for simple to complex situations, and facilitating discovery sessions to uncover deductions and maximize refunds. Deliver a best-in-class customer experience by connecting personally with clients in-person or virtually to build trust and address tax-related challenges. Work onsite at a TurboTax location Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week, scaling with peak demand.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credentials: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney
- Strong tax preparation experience
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Experience using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Availability Sunday through Saturday
- Minimum of 20 hours per week
- Willingness to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Willingness to work in a front facing retail environment
- Must reside within the United States
