Job Summary
Handle interactions with IRS employees, including the Automated Collection System, Revenue Officers, and Revenue Agents, while conducting audit defense and resolving collection problems using installment agreements and Offer in Compromise. Manage caseloads and competing deadlines by working with people's financial information, IRS forms, documents, and deadlines, requiring proficiency in Word, Excel, and QuickBooks. Advocate for clients such as the Innocent Spouse and litigate to secure the right result, meeting performance and casework standards. This on-site role requires availability Monday through Friday and demands positive energy and comfort with computer systems.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Tax Resolution as an Enrolled Agent, CPA, or Attorney
- Outcome-driven mindset
- Ability to help defend tax audits
- Experience solving IRS Collection Problems using installment agreements
- Experience using Offer in Compromise
- Ability to litigate to get the right result
- Ability to advocate for the Innocent Spouse
- Ability to solve other tax train wrecks
- Positive energy in everything you do
- Comfortable using a computer
- Ability to work on-site (not remote)
- Availability 5 days in a work week (Monday – Friday)

- Good understanding of accounting
- Experience tying things out
