Job Summary
Proactively lead client engagements by delivering tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions across diverse industries and entity structures. Review complex engagements for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and fiduciaries while advising on federal, state, and local tax developments. Drive business development through networking, referrals, and speaking engagements to expand services and deepen executive-level relationships. Mentor and develop tax professionals at all levels while collaborating with partners on strategic growth initiatives and practice development. Lead client presentations, proposal discussions, and engagement economics monitoring to ensure quality, profitability, and timely delivery. Stay current on regulatory changes and communicate implications to internal teams and clients.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license
- 12+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
- Demonstrated expertise across a broad range of tax disciplines, including corporate, partnership, individual, fiduciary, and state and local taxation
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g, CCH Axcess) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven expertise in overseeing complex client engagements and delivering high-quality client service
- Ability to develop tax planning strategies for clients
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Experience supervising, training, developing, and reviewing the work of staff and senior associates
