Job Summary
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing proactive tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions across diverse industries and entity structures. Review and advise on complex individual, partnership, corporate, S corporation, fiduciary, and other tax engagements while developing strong executive-level relationships to expand services. Lead multiple client engagements simultaneously, monitor engagement economics including budgeting and billing, and actively drive business development through networking and speaking engagements. Mentor and coach tax professionals at all levels, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Stay current on federal, state, and local tax developments to communicate implications to clients and internal teams. Collaborate with Partners on strategic growth initiatives, practice development, and market expansion efforts.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license
- 12+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
- Demonstrated expertise across a broad range of tax disciplines, including corporate, partnership, individual, fiduciary, and state and local taxation
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g, CCH Axcess) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven expertise in overseeing complex client engagements and delivering high-quality client service
- Ability to develop tax planning strategies for clients
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Experience supervising, training, developing, and reviewing the work of staff and senior associates
