Job Summary
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing proactive tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions across diverse industries and entity structures. Review and advise on complex individual, partnership, corporate, S corporation, fiduciary, and other tax engagements while leading multiple client engagements simultaneously to ensure quality, profitability, and timely delivery. Collaborate with Partners on strategic growth initiatives and actively drive business development through networking, referrals, and client relationship management. Mentor tax professionals at all levels, foster a culture of collaboration, and stay current on federal, state, and local tax developments to communicate implications to clients and internal teams. Monitor engagement economics, including budgeting, billing, collections, and overall client profitability.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license
- 12+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
- Demonstrated expertise across a broad range of tax disciplines, including corporate, partnership, individual, fiduciary, and state and local taxation
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g, CCH Axcess) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven expertise in overseeing complex client engagements and delivering high-quality client service
- Ability to develop tax planning strategies for clients
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Experience supervising, training, developing, and reviewing the work of staff and senior associates
