Job Summary
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing proactive tax planning, consulting, and compliance solutions across diverse industries and entity structures. Review and advise on complex individual, partnership, corporate, S corporation, fiduciary, and other tax engagements while leading multiple client engagements simultaneously to ensure quality, profitability, and timely delivery. Collaborate with Partners on strategic growth initiatives, actively drive business development through networking and speaking engagements, and mentor tax professionals at all levels. Stay current on federal, state, and local tax developments, communicate implications to clients and internal teams, and monitor engagement economics including budgeting, billing, and collections. Lead client presentations, executive meetings, and proposal discussions with confidence and professionalism.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license
- 12+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting
- Demonstrated expertise across a broad range of tax disciplines, including corporate, partnership, individual, fiduciary, and state and local taxation
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g, CCH Axcess) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven expertise in overseeing complex client engagements and delivering high-quality client service
- Ability to develop tax planning strategies for clients
- Extensive knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Experience supervising, training, developing, and reviewing the work of staff and senior associates
