Job Summary
Conduct full-service tax return preparation, including calculations, deductions optimization, and tax planning advice for personal and business clients. Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions and minimize tax liabilities while providing personalized support using Intuit TurboTax products. Act as a community ambassador by representing TurboTax locally, engaging new prospects, and nurturing leads to build long-term client relationships. Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through genuine interest in financial goals and professional interaction via in-person or video communication tools.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted EA, CPA, or attorney license
- Strong tax preparation experience with deep knowledge of tax law
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Must be available Sunday through Saturday
- Must be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
