Job Summary
Represent TurboTax locally as a community ambassador by engaging prospects, nurturing leads, and converting them into long-term clients through proactive outreach. Provide full-service tax preparation, including advice, calculations, and software support, while facilitating discovery sessions to uncover deductions and maximize refunds. Deliver a best-in-class customer experience by connecting personally with clients in-person or virtually to build trust and address tax-related challenges. This seasonal or year-round role requires onsite presence at a TurboTax location in the United States, with availability Sunday through Saturday for a minimum of 20 hours per week. Candidates must hold active credentials such as an EA, CPA, or attorney license. Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with performance-based rewards and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credentials: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney
- Strong tax preparation experience
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Experience using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location
- Availability Sunday through Saturday
- Minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
