Job Summary
Represent TurboTax locally as a community ambassador by engaging new prospects and leading local events to build long-term client relationships. Provide full-service tax preparation, including personalized advice, calculations, and deductions optimization for both personal and business income. Deliver a best-in-class customer experience through in-person and virtual interactions, addressing inquiries and helping clients overcome tax challenges while fostering trust. Work onsite at a TurboTax retail location Sunday through Saturday, minimum 20 hours weekly, to drive customer loyalty and support Intuit's mission of powering prosperity.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted credentials: EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Possess or be able to obtain any related State licenses, certificates, permits, or bonds
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 50 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software
- Familiarity with Circular 230
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax retail or flagship location, Sunday through Saturday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week
- Must reside within the United States
- Must be willing to wear a TurboTax uniform
- Must be willing to work in a front facing retail environment
Desired Qualifications
- Interest in building a local and online social presence as a Tax Associate, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community in accordance with Intuit's policies
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus
- Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
- Passionate about empowering customers and helping them overcome the complexities of taxation
