Job Summary
Conduct full-service tax return preparation, providing expert advice, calculations, and software support for personal and business clients. Facilitate discovery sessions to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, and deliver personalized tax planning. Connect customers with complementary services including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial advisory to build a complete financial picture. Act as a community ambassador by identifying prospects, leading local events like workshops and pop-ups, and driving long-term client loyalty through targeted outreach. Deliver exceptional in-person and virtual customer experiences while navigating complex scenarios involving life events, investments, or amendments.
Required Qualifications
- Active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN)
- Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30 or more federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season
- Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location
- Must be available primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday
- Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development
- Must be able to file taxes
Desired Qualifications
- EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience
- Extensive knowledge of tax laws
- Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills
