Job Summary
Enter client and W-2 information into the tax program, assemble tax returns, obtain signatures, and complete bookkeeping procedures. Review finished products with clients to ensure superior service is delivered. Assist with the beginning and closing of tax interviews as assigned. Requires high school diploma, reading and math skills, and Windows-based computer proficiency. Additional state and local requirements may apply.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and on the phone
- Previous experience with Windows-based computer programs
Desired Qualifications
- Additional course work in math, accounting, or finance
