Job Summary
Lead audit, tax and assurance engagements for clients including privately held businesses, nonprofits, and government entities; oversee planning, fieldwork, and review of financial statements and tax returns; participate in the preparation of federal and state income tax returns; supervise staff, mentor juniors, and contribute to business development and ongoing training; collaborate with management and clients to address accounting and tax requirements, while ensuring compliance with GAAP and applicable tax standards. Travel to client sites may be required.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. in Accounting or closely related degree
- CPA license (active)
- Minimum of three years of relevant professional work experience
- Strong computer, communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to excel in deadline-driven environment
- Client contact is required, with ability to communicate effectively with client employees and management
