Job Summary
Tax Operations Specialist to support onboarding and processing of new tax clients; input and verify new client data; ensure onboarding occurs efficiently within SLAs; generate fee quotes and obtain client approval; assist with onboarding tax employees and administrative tasks; handle billing and invoicing; support client communications and maintain data integrity; assist with termination of tax client engagements and integration of newly acquired firms; monitor workflow via reports; identify process improvements and maintain timely communication with Tax Operations Management; deliver high-quality client service and confidential handling of information; work in a professional office or home office environment with standard business hours and seasonal additional hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1+ years’ experience in an administrative or assistant role
- Experience or willingness to work with dynamic professionals
- Outstanding work ethic with a self-starter attitude, ability to perform under pressure, meet deadlines, prioritize and deliver multiple tasks on time
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to maintain confidentiality with all matters
- Have a “can-do” positive attitude and enjoy being part of a team
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment
- Eager to become an expert in the position
