Job Summary
Tax Officer position within the AD Airports group focusing on VAT, Corporate Tax, and Excise Tax compliance and planning. Responsibilities include tax reporting and compliance across VAT, CT, and Excise Tax; liaising with tax authorities; providing expert tax advisory, identifying tax impact areas, and developing planning strategies; implementing and improving tax systems, policies, and processes; ensuring accurate tax forecasts and financial reporting; supporting internal and statutory audits and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance (Tax subjects), 4+ years in VAT and accounting, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and proven ability to interpret tax laws and manage regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with Accounting and Tax subjects
- Tax Diploma (Preferred)
- Minimum 4 years of experience in VAT and accounting, covering all accounting modules
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to interpret and apply Corporate Tax laws and regulations
- Ability to prepare, review, and file accurate tax returns and supporting documentation
- Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to assess tax implications
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to coordinate and collaborate across multiple functions
- Strong compliance, risk management, and internal control capabilities
- Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to enhance systems and processes
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial and tax reporting
