Job Summary
Senior leader responsible for the Tax Managing Director, Global Tax Outsourcing role within the GTO team. Builds and maintains strong client relationships, directs all project services delivered, leads strategic initiatives, and supports Partners with business development and practice management while managing operational risk. Leads international tax engagements, oversees cross-border tax issues, develops client account plans, ensures timely delivery within scope and budgets, and acts as a core client advocate on billing, policy, country tax issues, payroll operations, and systems. Supervises GTO Managers, Senior Associates, Associates, and Interns; mentors staff; and collaborates with regional offices and partners to drive growth, thought leadership, and service delivery across global tax services. Requires a bachelor’s degree (focus in accounting, CIS, economics, or finance preferred), 10+ years in corporate/international tax, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and CPA/EA/attorney credentials preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, required
- Ten (10) or more years of prior experience in corporate tax, international taxation, legal professional services or equivalent experience gained through an advanced degree (LLM) program, required
- Experience in international tax, required
- Negotiation experience, required
- Experience supervising tax professionals on a project or engagement basis, required
- CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a US jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (EA) (or the equivalent of one of these designations), preferred
