Job Summary
Prepare and review complex trust, estate, and gift tax returns (Forms 1041, 706, and 709) while collaborating with clients to develop strategic tax planning solutions. Build strong relationships by providing proactive guidance on compliance matters, legislative changes, and advisory services. Stay current on federal, state, and local tax laws through in-depth research, presenting findings in actionable ways. Supervise and mentor junior team members to enhance their technical skills, while identifying process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy in tax preparation. This role supports high-net-worth clients within a specialized focus on trusts and estates, requiring a CPA license and minimum five years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA license
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax
