Job Summary

Prepare all client tax assignments, including 1065, 1040, 1120, and 1120S returns, quarterly estimates, and year-end projections. Manage multiple engagements by scheduling, staffing, and coordinating workflows while supervising associates. Conduct technical reviews and approvals of complex returns and governmental examinations, researching federal, state, and local compliance issues. Represent clients before taxing authorities and serve in a consultative role to identify value-added services and process improvements. Own the entire client relationship, communicating progress and resolutions while ensuring deliverables meet professional standards.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Public Accounting experience
  • Active CPA license
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • Extensive knowledge of Internal Revenue Code and other tax laws, regulations, and guidance with the ability to research and apply theory and experience to individual circumstances
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple engagements and projects, simultaneously
  • Ability to assess, analyze and manage risk using appropriate frameworks, professional judgment, and skepticism
  • Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing; actively listens and clearly communicates ideas and information
  • Ability to lead and work respectfully and productively with diverse individuals in a variety of roles
  • Advanced technical skills
  • well-developed management and supervisory skills
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree preferred
