Job Summary
Weaver seeks a Tax Manager with at least 5 years of federal tax compliance, planning, and consulting experience in public accounting. The role involves business development, training, mentoring team members, and managing tax planning and preparation services for diverse clients. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and be a CPA. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in Accounting and strong relationship management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA with 5+ years of public accounting experience, industry experience or a combination of both
- Technical knowledge sufficient to sell and execute engagements in a variety of industries
- Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop a team
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Strong relationship management and practice development skills
- Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
