Job Summary
Lead tax compliance and advisory engagements for a diverse client base, overseeing the preparation and review of complex tax returns for corporations, partnerships, individuals, and trusts; provide strategic tax planning, advise on entity structure and tax-saving opportunities; manage client relationships and the full lifecycle of engagements including budgeting and billing; supervise and mentor tax seniors and staff, participate in recruiting and professional development; conduct in-depth tax research, interpret changes in tax legislation, and draft memoranda to support positions; require strong leadership, client-service focus, and technical expertise across federal, state, and local tax regimes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Master’s in Taxation or related field preferred
- CPA designation preferred (or actively pursuing)
- 5+ years of progressive public accounting experience with a strong focus on tax
- Proficiency in tax software such as CCH Axcess and/or ProSystem fx
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
