Job Summary
Tax Manager role overseeing personal, corporate, and partnership tax returns; responsible for strategic tax planning, HMRC liaison, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with HMRC regulations. Includes supervising and mentoring junior staff, coordinating the tax team, and collaborating with audit/accounting to deliver integrated tax services. Ideal candidates will have QBE or CTA qualifications, strong tax advisory and compliance experience, excellent communication, and IT proficiency. Flexible hybrid or home working within commuting distance to the firm’s six Scottish office locations.
Required Qualifications
- QBE or CTA Qualified
- significant relevant accountancy practice experience
- ability to explain complex tax issues in plain English
- technical proficiency and good IT skills, especially Excel
