Job Summary
Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to oversee all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting for a multi-entity consumer-products company. Responsibilities include managing federal, state, and local tax obligations, leading tax provision calculations and financial reporting of tax liabilities, preparing and reviewing income, sales, property, and other tax returns, coordinating with external auditors/tax advisors, staying updated on regulatory changes, providing tax analysis for business transactions, mentoring tax professionals, and supporting transfer pricing and international tax projects. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA or Master’s in Taxation preferred), 5+ years of tax experience with at least 2 years in a managerial role, proficiency with tax software, and strong communication/leadership skills; bilingual English/Mandarin Chinese preferred. Location: Buena Park, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA or Master’s in Taxation preferred
- 5+ years of experience in income, sales, property, and other taxes
- at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Proficiency in tax software and financial reporting tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and leadership abilities
- Knowledge of international tax and transfer pricing is a plus
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese is preferred
