Job Summary
Tax Manager / Senior Manager, Family Office at KPMG. Serve as trusted advisor to family offices on strategic, operational, and financial matters; direct tax compliance and consulting for multi-generational family and private-equity backed businesses, including analyses of gift, estate, and income tax issues for ultra-high net-worth individuals; establish rapport with sophisticated clients to anticipate needs; build, manage, and monitor multiple client engagements and teams with ongoing client communication; lead market and business development activities and collaborate with Audit and Advisory practices; contribute to growth and institutional knowledge of the Closely Held Business/Family Office tax practice. Senior Manager adds responsibilities for expanding practice locally and nationally, and mentoring staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM (or equivalent) per KPMG's approved credential listing
- minimum five years of recent focused high net-worth individual, flow-through entity and family office tax experience
- experience leading multiple engagements and client service teams
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
