Job Summary
Oversee technical tax reviews and manage complex closely held business engagements, including passthrough entities and their owners. Research complex tax issues, recommend innovative solutions, and perform simultaneous technical reviews of returns while monitoring billable hour budgets. Supervise and develop a tax team by creating developmental plans, evaluating performance, delegating assignments, and providing coaching. Build strong, long-term customer relationships end-to-end, manage engagement economics, and support business development through networking and professional events. Full-time role available immediately in Columbia, SC with competitive compensation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of recent accounting firm experience managing complex tax projects, CHB engagements, and workflow
- Significant experience with entity-level taxation across multiple structures
- CPA certification
