Job Summary
Tax Manager to lead direct and indirect tax accounting and compliance for multiple entities, including quarterly and annual tax provisions, review of federal, state and local returns, indirect tax (sales/use and excise), and tax planning. Responsibilities include administering intercompany tax sharing, maintaining SOX-compliant controls, implementing process improvements, liaising with tax consultants and auditors, utilizing tax software, supervising and mentoring junior tax staff, and staying updated on tax legislation. The role requires strong communication, project management, and cross-functional collaboration with internal departments and remote finance teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive tax experience in industry and/or Big Four accounting
- Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role
- Bachelor’s degree in tax, accounting, or finance is required, MBA preferred
- CPA license preferred
