Job Summary
Lead direct and indirect tax reporting for UK and overseas entities, ensuring accurate and timely compliance with local regulations. Manage key workstreams including tax provisions, transfer pricing, R&D, capital allowances, CIR, and anti-hybrid matters while maintaining governance and risk processes. Monitor legislative changes to assess operational impacts and improve processes through technology and automation. Coordinate tax audits, manage external adviser relationships, and partner with stakeholders to provide solution-focused advice. This role reports to the Group Head of Tax at Low Carbon, a certified B-Corporation developing renewable energy projects across the UK and Europe.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified tax professional
- demonstratable experience in a Tax Manager role
- experience gained in practice and/or industry
- broad technical tax knowledge across direct tax
- broad technical tax knowledge across indirect tax
- broad technical tax knowledge across employment tax
- broad technical tax knowledge across SDLT
- broad technical tax knowledge across transfer pricing
- broad technical tax knowledge across R&D
- broad technical tax knowledge across capital allowances
- broad technical tax knowledge across CIR
- broad technical tax knowledge across cross-border
- broad technical tax knowledge across real estate
- broad technical tax knowledge across international tax matters
- experience using ERP systems
