Tax Manager responsible for maintaining client relationships, reviewing federal and state income tax returns for individuals, businesses, and exempt organizations, preparing tax research memoranda and guidance related to federal, state, and local tax matters, assisting with responses to notices from taxing authorities, mentoring staff, supporting business development and proposals, and managing multiple client engagements and budgets to meet deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA certification
- 9+ years of recent public accounting experience
- 2+ years in a supervisory or people leadership role
- Strong technical tax knowledge, communication skills, and attention to detail
