Job Summary

Manager to join KPMG's Business Tax Services focusing on insurance clients within the Financial Services practice. Responsibilities include providing tax compliance and tax consulting for clients, overseeing a portfolio of engagements, building and managing client relationships, and supervising risk, billing, and project budgets. Requires 5+ years of corporate tax experience, a Bachelor's degree, and CPA/EA/JD/LLM or equivalent credential; knowledge of ASC 740 and SSAP 101 is preferred. The role emphasizes delivering high-quality tax services to insurance, banking, and asset-management clients within a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation, and/or law firm with minimum three years working with insurance, banking, or asset management corporate entities
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials
  • Strong knowledge of ASC 740
  • Working knowledge of SSAP 101
  • Experience with corporate taxation and consolidated returns
