Job Summary
Review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and corporations; adjust financial statements to prepare returns. Manage engagements, resources, and client expectations to maintain profitable relationships while establishing project budgets and due dates. Complete engagements on time and on budget, ensuring clear deadlines with the Client Ambassador and utilizing reliable systems for overall workflow. Handle firm administrative functions including time entry, billing, collections, and change orders. Requires a Bachelor's in Accounting or Taxation with a CPA license preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation
- Experience using tax preparation software and applications
- Excellent analytical and technical skills
- Great communicator with the ability to convey both analysis and findings to management and external clients (verbal and written)
- Ability to work in cross-functional, entrepreneurial atmosphere to achieve measurable results and improve existing processes
- Ability to work on multiple projects at a given time
- Motivated to meet client deadlines and provide superior client service
- A team player with strong relationship skills
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in taxation
- CPA License
- eligibility to take CPA exam
