Job Summary
Conduct final technical reviews of 1041 trust and estate income tax returns and research complex tax issues to develop practical recommendations. Plan, coordinate, and manage client engagements while communicating directly with clients to ensure their best interests are served. Oversee billing, collections, WIP monitoring, and aging, and mentor team members by setting expectations and providing resources. Maintain strict confidentiality and quality standards while building internal and external networks to support business development. Full-time role available immediately within a collaborative professional services firm supporting a diverse trust and estate client base.
Required Qualifications
- CPA certification
- at least five years of public accounting experience
- strong technical expertise in trust and estate taxation
- demonstrated leadership ability
- strong decision-making skills with initiative
- ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- excellent organizational abilities with the capacity to manage a heavy workload
