Job Summary
Provide final technical reviews on tax returns and related documents, research complex issues to recommend solutions, and lead high-net-worth estate, trust, and gift tax engagements. Direct and schedule client engagements to ensure timely completion while monitoring team performance and assigning tasks to staff. Communicate with clients to support their best interests, mentor team members, and oversee billing, collections, and work-in-progress monitoring. Maintain current knowledge of tax legislation and accounting procedures to deliver exceptional quality and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- CPA certification
- at least five years of public accounting experience
- specialized expertise in trust, estate, gift, and high-net-worth individual taxation
- Experience preparing and reviewing Forms 1041, 706, and 709, as well as high-net-worth 1040 returns and related planning
- Demonstrated leadership and staff development skills
- Strong decision-making capabilities with initiative
- Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
- Excellent organization and ability to prioritize a heavy workload
