Tax Manager

Job Summary
Manage and review complex federal, state, and international tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. Lead tax engagements from start to finish, including planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery, while ensuring timely and accurate filing of client returns. Understand client business needs to identify tax issues and articulate conclusions, providing proactive tax-saving strategies and profitability recommendations. Review work performed by team members to ensure quality and accuracy, developing strong client relationships through exceptional service. Requires an active CPA license, 5+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience, and proficiency in tax preparation software. Hybrid schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and/or Master's degree in Accounting
- Active CPA license
- 5+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience
- Expertise in individual, corporate, and pass-through taxation
- Proven expertise in overseeing complex client engagements and delivering high-quality client service
- Ability to develop tax planning strategies for clients
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g, CCH Axcess) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience supervising, training, developing, and reviewing the work of staff and senior associates
