Job Summary
Facilitate client engagements, manage relationships including billing and collections, and serve as the primary point of contact. Sign tax returns and develop, train, and lead team members through detailed review, analysis, and performance monitoring. Schedule and manage direct report workloads to ensure efficient, profitable operations while contributing to the Tax department's strategic planning. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments, engage in business development for new clients, and provide leadership in specialized areas including tax committees. Complete special projects as assigned. This role offers a clear path to partnership within a firm committed to integrity and professional growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA or Enrollment Agent (EA) certification
- minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience
- Experience conceptualizing, developing, and monitoring the work flow for tax preparation
- Strong working knowledge of tax law and other professional standards/regulations
- Experience preparing and reviewing complex returns for S-Corporations, C-Corporations, LLCs, partnerships, high wealth individuals, consolidated, or multi-state returns and nonprofits

- Additional professional designations or certifications showing specialization in areas of taxation
