Job Summary
Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager to join the corporate tax team. The role oversees tax planning, compliance, and reporting for federal, state, and local taxes; prepares and reviews tax returns; leads tax provision calculations; collaborates with auditors and tax advisors; supports cross-functional tax analysis; mentors tax professionals; manages interactions with tax authorities; provides transfer pricing and international tax support; and ensures regulatory compliance and strong internal controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or Master’s in Taxation preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in income, sales, property, and other taxes, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese is preferred
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Experience with tax provision and compliance for multi-entity corporations
- Proven ability to manage tax audits and resolve tax disputes with authorities
- Proficiency in tax software and financial reporting tools
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience working with senior management
- Knowledge of international tax and transfer pricing is a plus
