Job Summary
Lead review of corporate and individual tax returns, oversee tax projections and planning, review client meeting packages, supervise and mentor accounting/tax staff, coordinate with partners and executives, ensure timely tax payments, review financial statements, and perform tax research using tools like BNA and CCH Axcess. Communicate with government agencies, identify tax issues for client transactions, and support cross-functional teams to ensure complete and accurate books. Requires strong English communication, time management, organizational skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and solid understanding of GAAP and taxation principles. Role involves extended hours as needed and ongoing participation in CPE and workshops.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, Accounting (3.0 GPA or better)
- Certified Public Accountant or Enrolled Agent
- 5+ years related experience
