Job Summary
Tax Manager role in South Lake Union area offering a partner-track path in a merged wealth-management-focused firm. Responsibilities include reviewing and preparing tax returns, providing guidance on complex tax issues for high-net-worth individuals and their businesses, staying current on tax laws, educating clients on wealth-management topics, delivering wealth planning services (income tax, estate, wealth transfer, cash flow, retirement, Social Security), and conducting business development to attract new clients. The position supports flexible remote work (1-2 days/week) after training, with a base salary typically between $140k and $185k plus bonus and comprehensive benefits. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA designation, interest in adding PFS or CFP, 5-6+ years of accounting experience (including 4+ years in public accounting), and strong communication and analytical skills. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA designation
- Desire to add PFS (through AICPA) or CFP financial planning designation
- 5-6+ years of experience in accounting, including 4+ years in public accounting
- Desire to grow professionally and attain Sr. Manager and Partner roles
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy
