Job Summary
Tax Manager to oversee complex tax engagements, manage client relationships, provide strategic tax guidance, and mentor staff in a growing public accounting team. Primary duties include serving as the client contact and trusted advisor, reviewing and delivering accurate tax engagements, researching tax issues and presenting solution options, staying current on accounting, auditing, and tax regulation changes (including foreign reporting), leading and coaching staff, managing multiple client engagements in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines, and contributing to practice development and business growth. Requires CPA, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, and 6+ years of tax experience in public accounting, with proficiency in tax software and accounting platforms.
Required Qualifications
- CPA required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- 6+ years of relevant public accounting tax experience
- Strong leadership, communication, project management, and client relationship skills
- Proficiency with tax software and accounting platforms (e.g., CCH Axcess, ProSystem fx, UltraTax, etc.)
