Job Summary
Senior Tax Manager or Tax Manager with strong client-contact skills, hybrid work in the Cleveland area (2 days in office). Responsible for preparing business and individual tax returns for federal, state, and city taxes; assisting with financial statements and payroll processing; supporting consulting services including business formation, expansion, and retirement planning. Requires CPA license or advanced certificate; 6+ years of public accounting experience; associate degree in accounting/tax/business administration with a bachelor's degree preferred. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and report-writing tools is expected; the team seeks candidates who can contribute to client service both in-person and virtually.
Required Qualifications
- Maintain a CPA license or other advanced certificate
- Experience preparing business and individual tax returns for federal, state and city taxes
- 6+ years of public accounting experience with a CPA firm
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel) and report writing tools
- Experience in financial statement preparation and payroll processing (plus)
- Associate degree in Accounting, Tax, or Business Administration; Bachelor's Degree preferred
